Terms & Conditions of Participation

Your registration for any conference or event organized by, or in any way connected with, Kalamazoo X Conferences (“KXC”) constitutes your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Participation (“Terms”).

Release of Liability

Your participation in KXC conferences or events (the “Activities”) is at your own risk. You voluntarily assume all risk of loss, injury or death arising in connection with the Activities. In consideration of the privilege of participating in the Activities, you hereby release KXC and its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, representatives, and all promoters, sponsors, and staff of the Activities (collectively, the “Releasees”) from all liability and waive all claims for loss, injury or death occurring in connection with the Activities, regardless of the manner of causation or type of harm, regardless of when such claim or liability arose or arises, and regardless of the theory of liability, whether based in negligence, misconduct, contract, indemnity, or otherwise. You agree to indemnify and hold the Releasees harmless from all claims or liability for loss, damage, or injury to you, of any nature whatsoever, arising in connection with the Activities.

Expulsion

KXC reserves the right to limit, suspend or revoke your privilege of participation in the Activities for any reason or no reason, with or without prior notice, and without refund. In the event of such limitation, suspension or revocation, you agree to immediately leave the premises on which the Activities are taking place.

Publicity

You consent to KXC’s use of photographs and video or audio recordings of you taken in connection with the Activities for the purpose of advertising or other publicity.

Binding Effect

These Terms shall bind and inure to the benefit of the parties and their successors or assigns. KXC makes no representations or inducements other than those expressly set forth herein.
